Family holidays – love them or LOVE them, with it being the start of a New Year, it gives us the perfect excuse to start thinking about where to jet of to next.
So, we’ve been doing the rounds and figuring out where’s gonna be HOT HOT HOT in 2018, and as ever, we’ve brought out three favourite destinations for family travel right here to you. You’re welcome, just think of us when you’re booking that extra ticket, eh! 🙂
Malta is the rising star of the med, with a discreet but loyal following. And we can see why. It’s not too bustling, and not too expensive, not too far and not too over developed. Valletta has also been named the European Capital of Culture for 2018, so now’s a great time to be ahead of the game before the crowds figure it out!
British Airways is launching a new service to the far flung island in the Indian Ocean from March. If you don’t mind doing your time in the air, you will be rewarded with this tropical paradise loved by families (The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge came here on their honeymoon). With this being the only direct fly from the UK, it’s also quite appealing to know that it won’t be attracting the masses, if you want to truly get away from it all.
3. MATERA, ITALY
We always take note of what Lonely Planet have to say. When they announced Matera in Italy as one of their top destinations for 2018, we instantly googled where the heck it was! This picturesque city has turned into somewhat of a hip hub for driving holidays and those seeking scenic views. It really is something special, take a look here.
So there you have it, our top picks for family holidays in 2018. Where will you be going? If you like us here, then don’t forget to follow us on Instagram too!
