Plan a kids party (like a pro!)

Lets get the (kids party) started!

It’s rather handy being a blogger and getting exclusive invites, and this week we’ve been lucky to preview a little ‘something something’ from our friends at Disney.

They’ve just launched a new range of gear for children’s parties, and it’s rather comprehensive. It includes your favourite Disney characters on a number of party essentials, including; cake stands, invites, thank-you cards, cuddly toys (obvs), party bags, plates, bowls, cups, straws, napkins and some rather cool little cupcake wraps I’ve never seen before. The bottom line is that it’s a one-stop shop for all your coordinated party needs. As a working Mum with never enough time, this is rather handy.

Pick one, which one?

Your greatest dilemma will be picking a set. There’s endless characters to choose from, including; Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, Frozen, Sofia the First, Star Wars, Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, The Little Mermaid, Disney Princess and so many more.

What is rather fun is that we got the Disney Princess range and Star Wars version to check out. Funnily enough, my son loved both.

I know I’m not supposed to have a favourite, but I am pretty torn between Finding Dory and Toy Story. Maybe someone should get them to do Dory Story, now that I’d like to see!

And there’s more…

It’s a really neat idea I have to say, and a very handy shortcut for working Mum’s like me that simply don’t have the time to outsource a party planner, and have to organise events in hidden corners of meeting rooms! The fact that I can buy a matching set of everything  with lots of supplies to chose from is a winner with me.

That’s not all though. The wesite also has a number of neat features, from designs you can colour in and share with friends, a party dashboard (think pinterest for the wee ones!) and my FAVOURITE bit – a free character call from Mickey and Minnie to wish your little one a very Happy Birthday. Ahhhh!

It’s good for those seeking inspiration for making birthday cakes too, with lots of colourful versions to help guide you.

Have you tried it out? Would love to know your thoughts.
